Infant Program
A Nurturing Start: The Infant Years (6 Weeks–2 Years)
The first months of life, from 6 weeks to 2 years, are a time of remarkable growth. During this period, infants build trust, form secure attachments, and begin to discover the world through their senses and movement.
At Montessori Greenhouse School, we honor each infant’s individual rhythm. Our caregivers follow your child’s own schedule for feeding, sleeping, and play, offering warm, responsive care that helps every baby feel safe, known, and loved.
Our Infant classroom is a calm, home-like space designed for the youngest learners. The environment includes dedicated areas for:
- Feeding and mealtime routines
- Restful, individualized sleep
- Free movement, from tummy time to first steps
- Sensory exploration, language, and early social connection
Every material in the classroom is carefully chosen to meet the developmental needs of infants, offering daily opportunities to build movement, early language, trust, and a growing sense of independence, all within a respectful, supportive atmosphere where each child is seen, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
